reveriewit: #reasons why tony stark is a hero: selflessly going up against whiplash without the suit #with no second thought whatsoever in order to defend those people #he has no superpowers #and without the suit #really no way to defend himself against those whips #and yet he was willing to throw himself at whiplash#to serve as a distraction to keep him from hurting anymore of those random people he’s never met #just think about that for a minute #based on my experience of working retail for a year #the majority of those people are probably incredibly selfish beings only concerned with their own gratification #notice how no one rushes out to help tony and instead of running to safety they all stick around to watch #that is what impresses me the most about superheroes #they’re willing to sacrifice their lives to protect jerks like us #and i know i wouldn’t be willing to do that
